Ghanaian duo spread love to their fanbase on this afrobeats tune with Nigeria pop star Mr Eazi.
This video was shot at Ayata Corner in Bukom, a local bar/night club know to be open to LGBTQ community which is quite rare in the currently conservative Ghanaian society which criminalize anybody non-heterosexual. The cast is composed of a band of fearless LGBTQ people who act, dance, and sing professionally.
Fokn Bois decided to made the video there after recent mainstream media in Ghana concocted and irresponsible story that LGBTQ youth in Ghana have strayed from heterosexuality because of poverty. In other words, the story claimed that if their had jobs they would not be gay. “True Friends” is taken from Afrobeats LOL, the latest album from the duo released back in February.
